Isaiah Kaiser, PhD

Chief Executive Officer

Isaiah is a recent PhD graduate from the University of Akron who has been dedicated to the field of advanced materials for over half a decade. He has a wealth of entrepreneurial experience, having served as a consultant for local startups, been an invited speaker for National Science Foundation panels, and held the position of president of the Northeast Ohio Student Venture Fund. Isaiah's passion for translational research is driven by his strong desire to bring impactful solutions to the market.

Aparna Agrawal, PhD

Chief Technical Officer

Aparna recently received her PhD in Polymer Engineering from the University of Akron and has worked in polymeric materials for close to a decade. She developed Auxilium’s foundational technology as part of her dissertation. Aparna’s motivation to translate scientific work to clinical practice originates from her connection with patients and passion to introduce more sustainable solutions.

Sadhan Jana, PhD

Scientific Advisor

Dr. Jana is the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies for the College of Engineering and Polymer Science at the University of Akron and a Benjamin Franklin Goodrich Professor. He is a global leader in Auxilium’s technological field and brings over 25 years of experience in writing, administering, and evaluating grants, as well as over 14 years of Chairing Committees for Academic Departments, New Technology, and Engineering Divisions. 

John Dorsky, MD

Medical Advisor

Dr. Dorsky is an experienced General Surgeon and Certified Wound Specialist with over 40 years of practice in the field of healing and wound care. He is affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic, two reputable medical institutions known for their exceptional care. Dr. Dorsky brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field, with a deep understanding of medical technology and the latest advancements in wound care.

Gareth Morris-Stiff, MD, PhD 

Clinical Advisor

Dr. Morris-Stiff is a renowned surgeon-scientist with a wealth of experience treating damaged and diseased tissue. With over 28 years of clinical practice under his belt, he is a respected authority in the field, having previously served as a surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic and director of a laboratory dedicated to researching ways to improve the treatment of damaged and diseased tissue. His knowledge of translational research and clinical expertise make him an invaluable asset to the medical community.

Sean McKibben, MBA

Business Advisor

Sean is a highly accomplished senior healthcare executive with a proven track record of success in leading healthcare organizations' growth, expansion, and operational improvements. With over 25 years of senior-level experience, including 16 successful years serving as a hospital President, he has extensive knowledge in the wound care space and currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer for DASI Simulations, where he continues to drive the success and growth of the organization.

Duane Mancini, MSc

Regulatory Advisor

Duane is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner for Project MedTech and has extensive experience in go-to-market strategy, including regulatory & reimbursement, biocompatibility, pre-clinical efficacy testing, and clinical trial design & execution. He is an expert at developing strategies and milestones for early-stage start-ups and evaluates how their early decisions in various aspects of the company may impact other aspects in the future.
